Nutrition Counseling

We accept the following plans for nutrition counseling:
    • Aetna and Aetna Better Health of Maryland
    • CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield
    • CHAMPVA
    • CIGNA: PPO or POS
    • Johns Hopkins Healthcare plans (All): Priority Partners (Medicaid), US Family Health plan (USFHP), Employee Health plan (EHP)
    • Maryland Physician's Care
    • Medicare: diabetes only
    • Riverside Health / University of Maryland Health Partners
    • Any health insurance PPO plan with outpatient nutritional counseling coverage.
    Coverage of nutrition counseling varies by condition and insurance plan.  Click here for more details. 

    We do not accept the following plans for nutrition counseling:
        • Tricare: does not cover outpatient nutritional counseling.
        • UnitedHealthcare: all plans 
        We give you peace of mind by billing your insurance on your behalf.
