We are looking for an energetic part-time registered dietitian / nutritionist to join our growing outpatient medical facility.  The ideal candidate will provide individual medical nutritional counseling to patients with a variety of conditions including diabetes, hypertension, obesity, hypercholesterolemia, etc...  The patient sessions will be done remotely via telehealth (e.g. Zoom), and the nutritionist is not required to come in to our facility.  There is a possibility of offering office visits when the COVID-19 pandemic ends.  The ideal candidate should be available at least one day a week and possibly a second backup day.  Documentation and scheduling is done electronically using an EMR.  The patient population comprises mostly adults with some pediatric cases.  We provide the patients, and handle the administrative work including scheduling, billing, and marketing.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience.
• MUST have active RD license in Maryland.
• Having a pleasant personality is a big plus.
• Experience with telehealth and EMR is preferred.
• Comfortable counseling patients independently.
• Comfortable interacting with other medical professionals.
• Having a flexible schedule is a plus.
• Knowledge of Spanish is a plus, but not a must.
